I Wish...

I wish...
Margaret Becker was still writing and singing new songs.
Bill Watterson was still producing new Calvin and Hobbes comics
(though I totally respect that he stopped)

What I really wish
is that joy would come more easily
that daily life wouldn't be such a struggle
that hope would wouldn't take so much work to grasp and HOLD

I guess I wish
life would be easy
and I would be inspired
all the time
