Crying...
For so many reasons
the stress
the weariness
her own failure
The children find her
“'Oh, I’m just taking a break. Lunch is almost ready.'
But I’m not taking a break.
I’m breaking."
She's breaking
Under the stress of life
And little children
Understandable
And me
"I'm breaking"
For all the same reasons
the stress
the weariness
my own failure
But no children here to help make sense of it
To make sense of the weight of it
Pity the people who must live with
Work with
The single woman
Who messes it all up...
